New start date for DST in Brazil

Daylight Saving Time in Brazil will from 2018 be starting on the first Sunday of November, instead of the third Sunday of October.

The delayed DST is believed to increase participation in the elections next year.

Brazil has four time zones. Daylight Saving Time is observed in two of them.
